CEMARK has an exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain team as an Import & Export Specialist, who will be responsible for managing and optimizing all international trade operations of the company, including import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations, and acting as the company's licensed Customs Broker.

Key responsibilities:
Import & Export Operations
- Manage end-to-end import and export processes, including documentation, transportation, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs, and government authorities.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation.
- Monitor cargo status and resolve shipment delays.
Customs Brokerage & Compliance
- Act as the company's authorized Customs Broker with responsibility for customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and tax regulations (Incoterms, HS codes, certificates of origin, licenses).
- Provide expertise on tariff classification, customs valuation, and trade agreements.
- Prepare and review customs documents to minimize risks of fines or disputes.
- Maintain professional relationships with customs authorities.
Trade & Regulatory Expertise
- Monitor changes in trade legislation and customs policies.
- Advise management on new trade regulations and compliance strategies.
- Support legal and finance teams with audits and disputes.
- Prepare reports on import/export activities, duties, and savings opportunities.
Cost & Process Optimization
- Negotiate with freight forwarders and brokers to achieve savings.
- Analyze costs and propose process improvements.
- Develop KPIs and monitor performance of trade operations.
- Implement digital tools to streamline customs processes.
Cross-Functional Support
- Support procurement with import requirements during supplier selection.
- Cooperate with finance and accounting on customs payments.
- Provide training on customs and trade compliance.
- Act as key contact for external audits related to customs.
Requirements:
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Economics, Law, or related field.
- Valid Customs Broker License/Certificate (mandatory or to be obtained).
- Additional certifications in trade or logistics (FIATA, ICC Incoterms) are an advantage.
Experience
- 2−4 years of experience in import/export operations or customs brokerage.
- Proven experience in customs documentation, HS codes, valuation, and Incoterms.
- Background in logistics coordination with authorities and freight forwarders are an advantage
- Experience in multinational or industrial sector preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of customs laws, VAT, excise duties, and trade regulations.
- Negotiation and communication skills with authorities and partners.
- Analytical abilities with focus on compliance and cost optimization.
- Attention to detail in documentation.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office. English min.B1
- Ethical and responsible in customs representation.
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Organized and proactive mindset.
