Job Summary
The Foreman will assist the Production Manager in leading the production workforce and processes by ensuring a safe and efficient production of Oldcastle products that meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities
- Communicates with Production Manager and Plant Manager to gather critical operations information including machine functionality, materials levels, and production data and priority
- Acts as floor lead in the absence of the Production manager
- Identifies and proactively addresses safety concerns and enforces staff compliance with safety regulations
- Mentorship: Train new employees and cross-train staff on production related tasks
- Owns shift execution, production output, labor coordination, and issue resolution
- Serves as first point of contact for production questions and problems
- Leads and maintains CI boards
- Leads shift huddles to share daily production information and a safety topic to ensure alignment on production priorities and an efficient shift start
- Schedules and communicates work assignments for production employees based on the production schedule, highest priority production needs and labor constraints
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership: Strong communication and management skills to direct, train and motivate teams
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
- Prior experience in production/manufacturing
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role or supervisory role
- Basic to advance skills with MS Office, with the ability to complete reports and navigate through multiple platforms and reporting features
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
