Summary

The Mobile Equipment Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving the support systems needed to manage the Dolomite Group equipment fleet. This role involves collaborating with mechanics, operational managers and contractors, improving purchasing, reducing rental needs, and increasing equipment utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Assure accurate cost and accounting practices are administered
  • Maintain cost control for all rolling stock equipment
  • Perform and authorize the purchase of parts, supplies, outside repairs, and shop tools
  • Manage outside repairs for accurate work and billing
  • Maximize equipment and mechanic utilization
  • Complete shop related paperwork, CMMS Reports, and administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (purchase orders, work orders, timecards, hour and mileage updates, etc.)
  • Plan, assign, and direct work orders for mechanics
  • Ensure maintenance facilities are neat, clean, and in safe condition
  • Maintain a professional attitude and assist co-workers as needed


Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of equipment is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Outlook, MS Office, CMS, and reporting software
  • Valid driver's license
