Dump Truck Driver
Job Description Summary
Employee essential in the mobilization of materials between facilities, job sites, and customers. Employee is also expected to help in the yard as needed and operate a loader.
Requirements
- Deliver product and material goods in a safe and timely manner
- Coordinate delivery schedules using most efficient routes
- Safety inspection of the vehicle before delivery including tire pressure, basic fluid levels and pneumatic controls
- Provide customer service
- Follows policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job
- Physical ability to operate equipment and to transport material.
- Attitude/Cooperation: Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public
- Craftsmanship and ability to follow OSHA/MSHA safety standards
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work may be required
- Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis on safety
- Initiative to perform/assist with other positions for job completion
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition
- Must pass drug test and background check

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Must possess a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
- Prior driving experience or a current Certification from a DOT compliant CDL Driving School is required
