Job Summary

The Communications Manager will support the corporate communications strategy for Oldcastle APG and Oldcastle Infrastructure, CRH companies. Reporting to the Communications Director, this role will bring fresh ideas to enhance external communications as part of the broader corporate communications strategy, while also partnering closely with brand marketing teams to deliver PR support across the portfolio. The Communications Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to tell the full story of the business-strengthening reputation, elevating executives and brands, and ensuring clear, consistent communications across audiences.

This position will be located at our corporate HQ in Atlanta, GA

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Communications Director and senior leadership to shape and deliver integrated communications that advance the corporate communications strategy across Oldcastle APG and Oldcastle Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing teams and agencies to develop PR plans and content that support product and brand initiatives across the portfolio, including messaging, announcements, and media-ready materials.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the company's external narrative, grow audience engagement, and expand the social presence of company executives.
  • Lead external communications deliverables, including press releases, media statements, contributed articles, Q&As, and talking points; support proactive media outreach and response in partnership with the Communications Director.
  • Develop and execute executive thought leadership programs, including positioning, speeches, bylines, award submissions, conference support, and executive LinkedIn content.
  • Represent Oldcastle APG and Oldcastle Infrastructure on cross-divisional initiatives within CRH, aligning messaging and sharing best practices across communications and marketing teams.
  • Provide meaningful reporting and insights on communications effectiveness, including channel performance, engagement, and external coverage.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience developing, writing, editing, and supporting internal and external communications initiatives in a large corporate environment (including executive communications and PR/media support)
  • Management experience a plus
  • Exhibit high degree of discernment and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience publishing company communications and newsletters (candidates will be required to submit writing samples)
  • Experience with LinkedIn as a corporate communications channel and executive thought leadership platform
