Are you a dynamic leader with a track record of operational excellence? We are seeking an ambitious Aggregates Operations Manager to oversee plant sites and our oil terminal, guiding every aspect of safety, operations, sales, finance, equipment, and strategic support functions.

Partner directly with our General Manager to shape and deliver bold operational goals and a growth strategy that positions our company at the forefront of the industry.

Your Impact

  • Champion a culture of safety by instilling best practices and working closely with safety teams and field staff to minimize risk and protect our greatest asset - our people.
  • Lead daily operations for asphalt plants and the oil terminal, ensuring safe production, exceptional quality, and unwavering environmental stewardship.
  • Deliver results that move the needle - drive operational performance to consistently meet and surpass company targets.
  • Own and manage the annual operating budget with keen financial acumen, collaborating with the General Manager to ensure fiscal responsibility and growth.
  • Inspire and mentor your team, building effective, high-performing groups and developing future leaders within the organization.
  • Empower crews with the right tools and training to work safely at all times, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee production by guiding site managers to maintain safe, timely, and cost-effective operations; resolve challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Support the bidding process by providing strategic advice and insights to the team.
  • Drive long-term growth by partnering in the development of future goals, strategies, and policies.
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives to maximize product reach, exceed customer expectations, and optimize profitability.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent presence as a key leader within our team.
  • Embrace new challenges and additional responsibilities as they arise.


Who You Are
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or similar field. Minimum 10 years in open pit operations.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting principles, materials, equipment, and project cost management. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to master new software tools.
  • Leadership: Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Commitment: Dedicated to safety protocols, willing to travel, and open to working nights or weekends as required.
  • Physical Capability: Able to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in all weather conditions.
  • Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to PPE requirements and company safety standards.
