The Impact of a Sr. Solution Architect at Coupa:

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead Procure-to-Invoice (P2I) solution design and implementation delivery. This customer-facing role focuses on driving procurement and invoicing transformation, delivering scalable best-practice solutions, and ensuring successful project outcomes. The role combines strong functional procurement and invoicing expertise, consulting leadership, and solution architecture capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Customer Leadership & Advisory- Lead solution workstreams within implementation programs with full ownership of deliverables, timelines, and quality. Drive discovery sessions, design workshops, and solution recommendations aligned to customer business goals and value realization. Establish trusted advisor relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Proactively identify risks, scope misalignment, and design challenges while leading resolution and escalation management.
• Solution Architecture & Expertise- Design and deliver scalable Procure-to-Invoice solutions across requisitioning, procurement, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, and supplier management. Translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes tailored to stakeholder needs. Maintain deep expertise in core solution areas and working knowledge of related modules and dependencies. Stay informed on product roadmap direction, industry trends, and procurement and invoicing best practices.
• Implementation & Delivery Excellence- Lead functional design, configuration strategy, and delivery oversight using established implementation methodologies. Collaborate with customer teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery. Manage workstream dependencies, risks, and overall delivery progress while maintaining a strong focus on customer value. Identify opportunities to expand customer adoption and enhance business outcomes beyond initial project scope.
• Practice & Team Development- Mentor junior consultants and architects while supporting onboarding and capability development. Contribute to reusable delivery assets, best practices, and internal knowledge sharing initiatives. Support continuous improvement of consulting methodologies and solution delivery frameworks.

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

• 5+ years of enterprise SaaS or packaged software implementation experience.
• 5+ years of consulting or customer-facing solution delivery experience.
• 5+ years of procurement and invoicing domain experience, including Procure-to-Invoice processes.
• Experience leading solution design workshops and implementation workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder communication, presentation, and advisory skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
