Senior Oracle Technical Developer

Cornerstone is seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Developer to deliver advanced technical development, integration, and support services across the Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM platforms. This role is heavily technical and requires deep expertise in Oracle Fusion development tools, integrations, reporting, and extensions, along with the ability to evaluate, implement, and optimize new AI-enabled features within Oracle Fusion Cloud.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, functional analysts, IT teams, and Oracle Support to resolve production issues, enhance system capabilities, and drive innovation through automation and intelligent features.

In this role you will...

• Design, develop, and support technical solutions for Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM, translating business and functional requirements into scalable, high-quality technical implementations.
• Collaborate with Functional Analysts, Business Users, and IT stakeholders to deliver robust integrations, reports, conversions, and extensions.
• Provide day-to-day production support, including month-end and period-close activities, with a focus on stability, performance, and rapid issue resolution.
• Lead technical design and development for:
  • Data conversions and imports (FBDI, HDL, ADFDi)
  • Reports and analytics (BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View)
  • Integrations using SOAP and REST web services
  • Prepare detailed technical design documents and specifications.
  • Ability to design, develop, code, test, debug, and deploy complex programs and integrations.
  • Perform technical design reviews to ensure consistency, reusability, performance, and minimal system impact.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues by collaborating across teams to analyze AI, integration, and application dependencies, root causes, and downstream impacts.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following Oracle best practices and secure development standards.
  • Continuously enhance technical expertise by staying current with Oracle Fusion architecture, integration patterns, AI-driven services, and development frameworks.
  • Build POCs and prototypes to validate technical approaches, performance, and business value prior to full-scale implementation.
  
  You've got what it takes if you have...
  
  
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical development role supporting Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS), including customizations, integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion integration technologies, including:
    • REST and SOAP APIs
    • Postman
    • Event-driven and asynchronous integrations
    • Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion development and reporting tools:
      • BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View
      • FBDI, HDL, ADFDi for data loads and conversions
      • Advanced skills in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with strong understanding of Fusion data models and performance optimization.
      • Strong technical exposure to Oracle Financials and related modules, with working knowledge of at least four of the modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Expenses, Subscription Management, Revenue Management (RMCS) and Procurement.
      • Solid understanding of financial business processes to effectively design technical solutions (configuration expertise not required).
      • Experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting Oracle Fusion AI-enabled features, such as intelligent automation, predictive insights, anomaly detection, and process optimization.
      • Proven ability to analyze requirements and produce clear functional and technical design documentation and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Strong experience across the full development lifecycle: requirements analysis, solution design, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.
      • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure production environments.
