Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Cornerstone is looking for a Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Revenue Marketing team. We are seeking a data-driven, creative marketer to focus on designing and optimizing customer journeys that drive engagement, retention, and growth across all stages of the lifecycle of our installed base.

If you're interested in just sending out generic emails and surveys-this role isn't for you. We need someone who can test, execute, and discover new ways to deliver value at every customer touchpoint, to improve retention and increase cross-sell opportunities and pipeline.

In this role you will...

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Customer Success, Field Marketing, Content, Brand, and Digital) to design, execute, and optimize integrated, multi-channel lifecycle programs that drive customer engagement, product usage, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Partner with field marketing teams to localize lifecycle campaigns for global consistency and regional/cultural relevance.
  • Own the planning process for customer marketing programs from strategy to execution-including developing briefs, mapping customer journeys, overseeing timelines, and coordinating deliverables.
  • Champion customer-centric messaging and, in collaboration with the customer communications and customer advocacy teams, test innovative approaches to reach, educate, and delight customers at every stage.
  • Utilize a variety of available customer-facing channels, such as newsletters, communities, and user groups, to drive customer pipeline growth.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the lifecycle, analyzing campaign results and making ongoing optimizations based on insights.
  • Establish ongoing feedback loop with field teams to understand customer needs, regional dynamics, and campaign impact.
  • Manage and prioritize budgets to ensure maximum ROI of lifecycle initiatives and communications.
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging technologies, with an emphasis on AI, in lifecycle, retention, and customer marketing to drive innovation.

  • Know your lifecycles: 3-5 years of experience planning, executing, and optimizing multi-channel customer lifecycle or retention marketing programs.
  • Project manage like a pro: Strong end-to-end project and program management skills.
  • Dig details: Self-starter with a keen attention to detail and a track record of managing multiple projects across teams.
  • Roll up your sleeves: Hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing platforms and automation tools.
  • Think creatively: Innovative mindset that enjoys finding new ways to engage and retain customers.
  • Build relationships easily: Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Love to win: Proven results driving retention, upsell, or advocacy in previous roles.
