Cloud Operations Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Operations Developer to join our Cloud Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor cloud services, automate operational tasks and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will...

  • Monitor and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, performance and security of cloud-based services and applications.
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve cloud-related incidents, working closely with senior engineers to address issues efficiently.
  • Automation & Scripting: Assist in automating repetitive operational tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash.
  • System & Network Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK APM to track system health and performance.
  • Security & Compliance: Follow best practices to ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Deployment & Configuration Management: Support deployments using CI/CD like Ansible.
  • Collaboration & Documentation: Work with engineering teams to optimize cloud resources and maintain detailed documentation for operational processes.

You've got what it takes if you have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud operations.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls).
  • Experience with scripting (Python or Bash) is a plus.
  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
