Summary:
The Neonatal Quality & Designation Program Manager is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing quality care to neonates. In collaboration with the Neonatal Medical Director and Nursing Leadership, this role provides program development and evaluation, project management, and direction of the QAPI program while overseeing the Neonatal Designation Process. Working with the multidisciplinary NICU team, the Manager reviews cases of neonatal care from admission to discharge and facilitates case reviews as needed. Additionally, the Manager collaborates with system quality leaders to maintain neonatal survey readiness per the State of Texas' legislative mandates; this includes participation in data reporting and quality improvement work through the Perinatal Committee at the North Central Texas Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) and other organizations such as the Texas Collaborative for Healthy Mothers and Babies. The Manager represents the organization at neonatal conferences (such as VON and CHND) and participates in the education and training of new staff in collaboration with unit educators.

Experience
- 2 years of experience in NICU nursing is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in quality improvement or data abstracting.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas is required.
