Summary:

The advanced-level Clinical Risk Coordinator leads the department's risk management strategy. This level provides expert guidance on risk mitigation, oversees risk-related initiatives, and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards.

Clinical Risk Coordinator Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university required
• 5 years' minimum experience in a healthcare setting required
• 2 years' experience in healthcare risk management, accreditation, quality improvement or patient safety, including project management or leadership experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g.
  • utlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Must be proficient in incident management software
• Must have expertise managing complex projects

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas or minimally required experience in a healthcare setting
