Position Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of professional Public Affairs work including policy research, internal and external communication, and interaction with various business units within Constellation Brands.
Responsibilities
- Analyze state and federal policy proposals and how they impact Constellation Brands
- Track federal, state, and local legislation
- Provide research and analysis of various current and emerging public policy issues, including beverage alcohol issues, international trade, and the political landscape
- Support department leadership with administrative support
- Think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of the Public Affairs department, other Constellation Brands business units, and Constellation Brands executive leadership
- Participate in special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or related business area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Research experience with an emphasis on organization and multitasking
- Intellectual curiosity with evidence of problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Commitment to growing and enhancing skills and knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively - written and verbal
- High energy and strong work ethic
- Travel requirement: some travel may be required

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The salary range for this role is:
$18.00 - $28.00 an hour
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
