As a Trust Reporting Officer, you'll play an important role in reconciling and reporting on assets held across multiple jurisdictions.

This is a fixed term contract for 14 months, working full time within a small, supportive team based in our St Helier office.
A role you will love
This is a structured, predictable role with clear expectations. You'll spend most of your time completing reconciliations and producing client reports, particularly during the monthly reporting cycle, alongside handling client queries, terminations and investigations into discrepancies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciling shareholdings and cash balances across systems, bank records and accounting platforms
- Investigating discrepancies and liaising with the Operations team where required
- Producing and securely issuing client reports in line with GDPR requirements
- Responding to client queries and supporting trust terminations
What will you bring to the role?
You'll enjoy working with numbers and bring strong attention to detail, confidence with Excel and a methodical approach to your work.
You'll be comfortable investigating issues, working as part of a close knit team and seeing tasks through to completion. Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a numbers focused role is useful but not essential, as training will be provided.
You will bring:
- A genuine interest in numbers, data and accurate record keeping
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
- Confidence using Excel and working with numerical information
- The ability to investigate discrepancies and follow issues through to resolution
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with others
- Curiosity, resilience and the motivation to learn new systems and processes
