Due to the success of GCM operations we are seeing an increase in both the number and complexity of our client base, an evolving use of technology and our continued focus on driving robust operational controls and proficiencies, GCM are seeking an experienced professional to help ensure our operational activities, responsibilities and practices across jurisdictions enable us to remain as the global leader in client and market service delivery

A role you will love

Working across GCM's Global Transactions and Cross-Border Solutions teams within GCM, the experienced professional shall have a responsibility for the continuous development of robust operational controls, process automation, liaison with connected global Computershare servicing teams, and provision of key management reporting.

  • Leading the initial and continued review/implementation of process automation
  • Developing new global transaction controls and reporting functionality.
  • Supporting GCM teams deliver core client transactions and/or following new market developments.
  • Continuous global procedural development and indexing
  • Liaison with broader GCM and Computershare operational centers for the implementation of tailored and/or unique business procedures and controls for new client/register structures.
  • Lead role in our risk controls and management.
  • Revenue tracking and monitoring (~$20m per annum).
  • Representing GCM at global operations meetings within Computershare

What will you bring to the role?

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • Degree level education (or equivalent) and 10+ years issuer services/related industry background with significant operational experience required.
  • Experience of all or some of global client management/services, Computershare operational practices, international settlement interest and knowledge preferred.
  • Very strong understanding of Computershare's proprietary and licensed systems, proven record in developing and implementing structured operational processes, controls and reporting to reinforce the performance of the GCM team.
  • Good understanding of how local (and ideally) global teams manage technical operational processes, risk management, reconciliation and project delivery (internal and/or client related projects). Has experience in supporting continuous improvement through implementation of new technology and automation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and some evaluative judgment based on best practice and previous experience. The role holder is expected to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and self-manage an assigned quota of internal operational projects/initiatives and support key client corporate transactions - at all times ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard, with plans for a continued development for the provision or robust and scalable services to keep GCM and Computershare as the 'go to' group for a broad range of clients and register structures.
  • Well-developed communication skills (both verbal and written), a track record of operational (development and delivery) success, meticulous attention to detail, comfort and ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging scenarios, demanding timescales, availability to work across different time zones, and experience working as part of a dynamic and senior management team.

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $105,000- $150,000/yearly. This base pay range is specific to New Jersey and Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations.
