Location: Oslo (hybrid)

Computershare Employee Share Plans (ESP) business is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services, project management and plan design to Plan Manager clients and their individual employee share plan holders. ESP also provides share-based payment accounting & financial reporting services to our corporate clients.

The ESP business is a global business organised into three client-facing regions (EMEA, APAC and NA) where accounting & financial reporting accordingly is a global business with global support, resources and oversight, global business consulting and regional account management teams responsible for relationship and delivery in the regions.

Share-based payment accounting & financial reporting ("FR") is technically complex and specialised accounting involving financial valuations, specific recognition rules, accounting policy decisions and relevant assumptions and accounting parameters. ESP has deployed EquatePyramid as a technology coupled with a service model and services creating a market leading share-based payment accounting & financial reporting offering. The solution is integrated with EquatePlus and ensures streamlined and compliant reporting for our clients.

A role you will love

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for delivering share-based payment accounting & financial reporting implementations for clients using EquatePyramid. This includes:

  • Translating client and internal stakeholder requirements into clear accounting & financial reporting solutions.
  • Leading end to end financial reporting implementations for new clients, including requirements gathering and workshops.
  • Analysing client data, reporting requirements, and accounting treatment to ensure accurate configuration in EquatePyramid.
  • Managing data imports, reconciliations, and the application of accounting parameters.
  • Collaborating with internal developers on new functionality and system enhancements, including specification writing and QA testing.
  • Preparing internal documentation, memos, and compliance checklists.
  • Supporting client and sales meetings through preparation and participation in workshops or demonstrations.
  • Delivering internal and external training sessions.
  • Assisting with additional projects and ad-hoc tasks across the business.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Solid foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including share-based payment accounting a significant advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent education or relevant professional experience.
  • Highly developed analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail when working with complex data.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to large implementation projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong process orientation, with the ability to follow, review and continuously improve established procedures.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and robust delivery.
  • Proven project management and people skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and geographies.
  • Confident and clear communicator, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
