Within the Facilities team we manage the real estate strategy and transactions, together with facilities operations and for all premises occupied by Computershare.
A role you will love
As a strategic leader with a global remit in physical security, this role shall promote a culture of safety and physical security through the design and implement systems to continuously improve standards in CPU across all offices of the globe.
Make expert Physical Security based decisions and recommendations for developing long-term security strategies that align with the CPU's goals and regulatory requirements. Leverage data and industry best practices to identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
Foster a culture of safety and security consciousness through continuous education, training, and engagement with employees at all levels through various relevant communication channels.
You will create, maintain and promote CPU's global physical security policies and procedures. Establish the structure and cadence of Global or regional Security Review Committee meetings to inform group executive oversight of key physical security metrics and developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Site Security Risk Assessments, conduct and maintain comprehensive physical security risk assessments for all global sites, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies aligned with industry best practices.
- Security Contract Oversight, review, negotiate, and manage third-party security service contracts globally, ensuring alignment with CPU standards, performance KPIs, and cost-effectiveness.
- Security Protocol Enhancement, collaborate with Facilities, IT, and H&S teams to design and implement robust physical security protocols.
- Executive Reporting and Insights, provide regular updates to senior leadership on global physical security posture, emerging threats, incident trends, and improvement initiatives.
- Incident Management and Investigation, lead or support root cause investigations into physical security breaches, thefts, or unauthorised access incidents.
- Global Physical Security Standards and Policies, develop, maintain, and promote global physical security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Security Technology Strategy - partner with IT and Facilities to evaluate and implement physical security technologies (e.g., CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection) that enhance site protection and operational efficiency.
- Crisis Preparedness and Response, support the development and testing of site-level emergency response plans, including lockdown, evacuation, and shelter-in-place procedures. Participate in global crisis management exercises.
- Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking, monitor global security trends, regulatory changes, and innovations. Coordinate and chair quarterly review meetings with Regional H&S Committees
- Global Physical Security Governance, establish and lead a Global Physical Security Review Committee or integrate into existing governance structures.
What will you bring to the role?
The successful individual will be able to form relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across our global business. They will also need to have experience of administering and maintaining Facilities related databases, alongside excellent excel skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data and provide succinct and timely reports to stakeholders.

- Expert knowledge of the industry and strategic development of security practices and systems.
- A strategic influencer, championing a culture of physical security awareness and resilience across the organization, who provides informal leadership and subject matter expertise to cross-functional teams, guiding best practices in physical security without direct line management.
- Applies expert judgement and attention to detail when evaluating complex physical security challenges, drawing on best practices, data insights, and prior experience to inform decisions
- Promote and embed Computershare's global physical security standards to ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors across its facilities.
- Actively contributing to the protection of people, property, and information by driving awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement in physical security practices.
- Demonstrates strong relationship-building capabilities, with excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
