Working within our Share-Plans business, the Relationship Manager will take strategic ownership of a portfolio of large and complex client relationships, using effective relationship management to deliver exceptional outcomes. You'll represent the business with credibility and professionalism. Acting as a trusted partner and key point of contact, the role will focus on strengthening client partnerships while proactively identifying, securing, and maximising revenue opportunities.
A role you will love
As a Share Plans Relationship Manager, you will be accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of clients and key internal stakeholders. Operating in a high-performance culture, you will confidently navigate the organisation at all levels, driving quality and consistency across service delivery. You will establish credible, trusted partnerships with clients through regular engagement, with a clear focus on achieving client retention. In parallel, you will proactively identify and deliver upsell and cross sell opportunities with clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver exceptional client outcomes by managing client actions, resolving issues through creative solutions, and maintaining high levels of satisfaction across your portfolio
- Drive commercial growth by proactively identifying and maximising new and existing revenue opportunities, contributing to EBITDA performance
- Provide insight and influence through the delivery of high quality presentations, financial analysis, costings, and trend identification for internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor and role model, supporting governance and compliance, maintaining accurate client data, sharing subject matter expertise, and identifying efficiencies and synergies across the wider business
What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for an experienced, client focused professional with strong commercial acumen and financial understanding, ideally within share plans or a regulated environment. Skilled at driving business development, identifying profitable opportunities, and building trusted relationships while navigating complex stakeholder needs and maintaining product integrity. Here are other essential requirements:
- Industry and commercial expertise, ideally within benefits or share plans, with a results driven approach and strong adherence to professional best practice
- Strong analytical capability, including experience designing costings, financial models, and interpreting data to support decision making
- Proven delivery and stakeholder skills, with significant experience in project and risk management, negotiation, influencing, and confident networking at events and conferences
- Well qualified and flexible, educated to degree level or equivalent (ICSA desirable), with the ability and willingness to travel as required
- Confident user of the full Microsoft Office suite of tools
