A role you will love

The Project Manager (PM) will manage the implementation process for new clients, as well as ongoing and development projects for existing clients. In addition to liaising extensively with the client to gather requirements and manage expectations, the PM will be actively involved in the configuration of databases and using existing products to offer targeted solutions to client challenges.

The successful applicant will be experienced in building relationships with clients at a range of levels but will also embrace the more technical aspects of the role and be looking to develop an extensive internal network.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Act as Project Manager and primary point of contact for client project owners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time and within budgetary constraints.
  • Build a sophisticated understanding of internal software and their main service offerings.
  • Scope work and develop estimates for up-coming projects.
  • Use templates and tools to document and communicate project progress.
  • Work with Sales and Support teams to ensure a smooth transition between service phases.
  • Assist in the testing of new software releases as needed.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Strong experience in project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ability to clearly elicit, analyse, document, and manage a project's requirements.
  • Interface effectively with client project stakeholders, technical resources and end-users.
  • Research and understand existing business processes and database application structure.
  • Work both independently and cooperatively to define and develop effective solutions for complex business processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment and to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Have a meticulous approach and strong attention to detail and problem-solving expertise.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Detailed understanding and experience with MS Office applications, including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance issues.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
