Location: Zurich, Switzerland (Hybrid)

In this position, you'll be based in the Zurich office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. This role has in-office operational requirements and so we're unable to consider employees who wish to continue an existing, fully remote working arrangement. A role you will love

As a Plan Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and executing compensation-related plans. You'll ensure seamless service delivery, maintain high-quality standards, and collaborate across teams to support our global clients. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that combines operational excellence with strategic process development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handle reporting, participant requests (via ticket/email), and participant communications.
  • Administer equity and deferred compensation plans using the EquatePlus platform.
  • Ensure compliance and risk standards are met across all operational and technical services.
  • Analyse client plans and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support various initiatives and projects assigned by management.
  • Identify and escalate irregularities promptly.
  • Collaborate fully during internal and external audits.
  • Follow company ethical standards, time-management rules, and all employment, operational, health, safety, and fire-hazard regulations.
  • Protect company property and maintain strict confidentiality of all company information.

What will you bring to the role?

You are a proactive and collaborative professional with experience in financial operations, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to delivering high-quality service. You bring strong organisational skills, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

  • Relevant experience in banking mid/back-office or similar financial institution roles
  • Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (e.g., Kaufmann/-frau EFZ in banking or insurance)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Organised, pragmatic, and performance-driven approach
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on deadlines
  • Adaptable to change and committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • SQL and JIRA knowledge is a plus
  • Fluent English skills (B2/C1); German skills are advantageous
  • Understanding of deferred compensation, benefits, and pension schemes is a bonus
