As one of our Oracle Cloud Ops Engineers you will work within the technology department and be responsible for the operational support, maintenance, and deployment of Oracle Cloud applications and related infrastructure.

As the Cloud Ops Engineer, you will work closely with the Cloud Ops Lead, vendor teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud environments, leveraging automation tools and best practices to drive operational excellence.
Some other key responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Cloud applications (such as Fusion, CRM on Demand, Eloqua), investigating and resolving incidents and service requests promptly to ensure system availability and performance.
- Participate in release and deployment activities for Oracle Cloud apps, ensuring changes are implemented effectively, safely, and in accordance with change control processes.
- Perform regular monitoring, health checks, and maintenance of cloud environments to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Action and complete service requests, including user access provisioning, configuration changes, and routine operational tasks.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact issues, document findings, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with the Cloud Ops Lead, vendor teams, and internal technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring clear communication and prioritisation.
What will you bring to the role?
As this is a technical role, you will need to have experience working in a similar Oracle Cloud Ops role ideally within a large complex business. In this role, you will need to have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively work with other team members, vendors and cross functional stakeholders.
You will need to have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure concepts, integration environments, and vendor management.
Some other key skills you will have:
- Understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM, ERP, EPM, CRM on Demand, Eloqua, and related Oracle cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of release planning, deployment management, and change control for cloud applications.
- Familiarity with user provisioning, role-based security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with automation platforms (such as Rapid4Cloud) for functional deployments and operational tasks.
- Proficiency in L2/L3 support processes, operational troubleshooting, and service request fulfilment.
- Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications, particularly Oracle Cloud platforms (Fusion, EPM, CRM on Demand, Eloqua).
- Exposure to coordinating and executing release and deployment activities for cloud applications, with an understanding of change control and auditability.
