Customer Operations Shareholder Information Team is one of the Operations Team within Hong Kong regions, responsible for providing back-end support for processing shareholders' requests into the system.

The Shareholder Information Officer must deliver all the daily jobs within agreed timeline and service/quality standards, e.g. according to our operation procedures.

This role is expected to work collaboratively across various teams within Operations to process all the shareholders' instructions within service level and comply with compliance into the system. It is a contact point with shareholders clarifying the instructions sent by them as well as informing them for claims of dividend payment; and notifying shareholders for maintaining valid shareholders' information in our database.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Update the shareholders' requests correctly and perform quality assurance on the transactions updated in system
  • Discuss and co-ordinate daily tasks with different teams (Operations, Investor Services, Client Facing, Legal and Compliance teams) to ensure all shareholders' instructions will be carried out timely and accurately
  • Ensure all shareholders' instructions can be delivered up to standard and within agreed timeline
  • Make sure all shareholder data maintained accurately in the system under standard internal audit process
  • Communicate and work closely with offshore team
  • Comply with all applicable operation procedures and report any potential risk and suspicious transactions to line manager immediately

What will you bring to the role?

  • University degree holder in relevant disciplines
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in bank operations
  • A solid foundation and understanding of the work routines to support the daily operation tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively relay messages clearly with the most appropriate and efficient way
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills are required in the role whilst having the ability to think outside of the box and provide sound solutions
  • Provide timely support for any ad-hoc/special requirements e.g. Attending AGMs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
