Originally focused on share registry, it now offers services in equity plans, governance, fund services, class actions, deposit protection, and mortgage servicing.

Issuer Services (CIS) handles administration for issuer clients and their security holders. The new Investor Engagement division combines Ingage IR (IR CRM software), CMi2i (investor intelligence), and Georgeson (proxy advisory).

Ingage IR supports clients in 15 countries-including 40% of the FTSE 100-with software that stores sensitive, non-public data. This requires rigorous InfoSec and Data Protection processes for onboarding and periodic reviews.

A role you will love

This role is pivotal in supporting our ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certification programmes and ensuring robust information security and data protection practices across the business.

You will take primary responsibility for completing Ingage's client and prospect InfoSec and Data Protection questionnaires-both during initial onboarding and periodic refresh cycles. You will also play a key role in supporting internal and external ISO audits, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining documentation that underpins our certification programmes.

Key to this role is providing direct support to the Sales, Account Management, and Client Support teams by assisting with responses to client queries related to security and privacy, ensuring timely and accurate communication that reflects Ingage's commitment to compliance and transparency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CTO (Information Security Representative) and Managing Director (Data Protection Representative) to uphold programme standards.
  • Assist in authoring and updating ISO documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Gradually take ownership of key ISO documents based on experience and progression.
  • Prepare minutes for ISO Management Meetings and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop ISO training materials and conduct internal training sessions.
  • Track and follow up on training logs to ensure completion and compliance.

What will you bring to the role?

This role would suit someone with proven experience in an Auditor/ Programmer or similar role. It's essential that you have experience of ISO 27001 framework and familiarity with ISO 27701. Candidates with tertiary-level qualifications-such as a degree or diploma in Information Security, Data Protection, or a related field, will also be viewed favourably.
