Internship - Finance Assistant

Location: Bristol, UK

This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol, UK. We're committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely for some of your working week.

This ten-to-twelve-week internship program will run from 1st June to August 2026. Successful interns may be offered returning internships and / or a full-time position with us upon graduation.

Our Finance function plays a vital role in managing both client and company funds, delivering services across treasury management, financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, commercial finance, and tax support for all business units within the Computershare Group.

A role you will love

As a Finance Assistant Intern, you'll join our reconciliation team, building your knowledge of systems and products. You'll play an active role in designing and maintaining new business processes, while also assessing risks from both regulatory and procedural perspectives. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in financial systems, risk management, and process design, while working alongside experienced professionals who will guide and support your growth.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting reconciliation systems, auditing processes to ensure compliance and accuracy, and maintaining clear documentation. You'll be involved in risk analysis, helping to identify weaknesses and propose control models to mitigate them. In addition, you'll take part in user acceptance testing for system updates, ensuring that changes are effective and reliable.
