A fantastic opportunity has arisen, and we are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our CTS group to mainly support USM project in Hong Kong. The Infrastructure Operations Engineer is responsible for the management, maintenance and optimization of our IT infrastructure services that support our organization's IT and business processes. This role encompasses activities to ensure the reliability, availability and performance of our IT infrastructure.

A role you will love
The Infrastructure Operations Engineer will be primarily responsible for managing incidents and service requests for Greater China, while also providing support for global infrastructure operations as required, with a strong emphasis on addressing local issues.
This role requires working very closely with the business to align the technology to business needs. This involves providing proposals, guidance for business projects and some direct interaction with key clients may also be required to present various Computershare technology solutions and adapt communications to the audience. We are looking for you to build great relationships within the team.
Some other key accountabilities will include:
1) Support and maintain the operational aspects of our infrastructure services
- Responsible for the maintenance and health of the organization's equipment related to the IT infrastructure services.
- Ensure all key services are monitored with the Computershare NOC and have appropriate run books
- Incident response and service requests fulfilment
- Support infrastructure service incidents and root cause analysis.
- Support controls for RCA and Problem Management
- Deliver IT Operations in line with Business Process KPIs, User Experience and CSAT Objectives
- Facilitate routine reviews for operational stability and performance across the E2E Service Design (including technical reviews with IT Stakeholders on the robustness of Infra/security/data - and User reviews with business stakeholders).
- Risk Management - identify and proactively manage risks.
- BCP And Disaster recovery planning and support for infrastructure services
- Support financial planning activities.
- Optimization of infrastructure services
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO, PCI-DSS)
- Maintain technical knowledge including current technology trends
- Infrastructure Security - Knowledge of security controls, including encryption and access management, to safeguard infrastructure services and ensure compliance.
- Foster global mindset, working globally, following ways of working including handovers and planned work.
2) Ensure the infrastructure services meet regulatory standards and comply with security policies, document systems desired state configurations and procedures, including exceptions.
- Support compliance of standards using appropriate tooling.
- Support review and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
- Support audit activities.
3) Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and complex ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.
- Building pro-active and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments globally
- Clearly translate complex business and technical problems to stakeholders
What will you bring to the role?
To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills as well as communication skills (proficiency in both English and Chinese). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
Some other key skills required for the role:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 7-10 years of related work experience of networking systems and software covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs); proven experience in communications infrastructure (Cisco routing & switching, F5 LTM, Fortinet Firewalls).
- Knowledge of service governance processes and the ability to understand risk to services. Proven experience in managing complex enterprise level infrastructure solutions and services.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Server Platforms and MS Products (Windows 2012 > 2025, Active Directory, Domain controllers, DHCP, Windows failover clustering, Windows file shares).
- Excellent understanding of DNS.
- Proven experience of managing Data Centre activities, driving automation of process and tasks, managing Cloud Operational tasks, administering Cisco Nexus switches, Fortinet Firewalls & Cisco Meraki Switches.
- Good understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), IDM and Ansible, Backup of Technologies such as Rubrik, Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Virtualization Hypervisors, AHV, ESXi.
- Infrastructure Security - Knowledge of security controls, including encryption and access management, to safeguard infrastructure and ensure compliance.
- Out-of-hours availability to support for maintenance and changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluency in both English and Chinese.
