Computershare has a unique opportunity for a Head of Technology Business Management to join our team at a truly exciting time.

We are looking for a highly experienced individual to take on this role reporting to the CIO for Issuer Services. This pivotal role will combine strategic advisory and delivery oversight responsibilities, it will help develop and execute on our operational and global strategic priorities.

A role you will love

As our Head of Technology Business Management, you will serve as the operational backbone of the Issuer Technology group, driving excellence in financial oversight, partner and vendor management, licensing governance and strategic initiative execution.

In this role you will ensure the smooth functioning of core operational processes and support the CIO in delivering technology outcomes aligned with enterprise goals.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy and business case for technology transformation to include process improvement and cost strategy
  • Own the budget planning, forecasting and tracking for the CIO group
  • Managing contracts, renewals and performance of strategic technology partners & vendors.
  • Oversee enterprise licensing and ensure alignment with usage and cost models.
  • Translate CIO strategic priorities including Corporate Development into actionable programmes.
  • Partner with InfoSec & Risk teams to ensure operational compliance across the CIO group.

What will you bring to the role?

We are seeking a proactive and driven individual with a strong technical background who has worked on significant strategic technology projects in the past showcasing expertise in the management of a portfolio of complex global programmes.

As this is a global role, you will need to have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, so you can effectively deal with people from different locations and different levels and cultures

Some other key skills that you'll have:

  • Strong financial management and analytical skills, ideally within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Real experience of delivering technology-driven initiatives in an enterprise setting, specifically within operations and/or financial services.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills to effectively interact daily with the CIO/COO and members of the Exec team.
  • Comfortable navigating between technical challenges and requirements of implementation, as well as business and human understanding and context in adopting new technology, such as change management, ways of working, value capture, etc., to ensure successful adoption and sustained impact of solutions.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills in order to manage information and present it in a global business strategic scorecard and transformation tracker
