Location: Edinburgh

Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Leader to join our team as our Head of Agile Delivery for our Global Plans Development team, based in Edinburgh.

We are looking for an experienced individual to take on this role, leading the department to deliver high-quality solutions across a portfolio of applications in collaboration with the Engineering and Product Development teams.

A role you will love

As our Head of Agile Delivery, you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology in our delivery team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide strategic direction and executive oversight for the delivery of high-impact technology solutions across a global portfolio.

One of the most important parts of your role is being responsible for the leadership of our amazing team. You will oversee people management, talent development, and progression planning to build motivated and harmonised Agile Leadership teams. Additionally, the Head of Agile Delivery assigns resources, reviews and evaluates work, advises on SDLC, policies, procedures, and supports project delivery from feasibility through implementation.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Drive a scalable Agile operating model to maximize organizational agility and value delivery, ensuring adherence to core principles.
  • Promote advanced technical practices and foster a culture of innovation, quality, and rapid iteration.
  • Leverage data and key performance indicators to optimize team performance and accountability, delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Advise executive stakeholders and technology partners, shaping technology delivery strategy and aligning with global business priorities.
  • Ensure teams deliver secure, resilient, and compliant solutions that meet architectural standards and align to methodologies.
  • Drive innovation, quality, and productivity to enhance delivery capability.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Extensive experience in Agile transformation, technology delivery, and strategic stakeholder engagement at the senior management level.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop future leaders.
  • Excellent management skills, including resource planning, delegation, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership skills - sets direction, builds consensus and shares a vision and values.
  • Motivates and empowers employees. Leads effectively through change and adversity.
