Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing employee share plans to clients and their individual employee share plan holders. As Events Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact events that strengthen client relationships and drive business growth. Sitting within our global marketing delivery team and reporting to the Senior Marketing Delivery Manager, you'll work closely with the EMEA Senior Marketing Portfolio Manager, marketing business partners, and external suppliers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
A role you will love
As the Events Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and performance tracking of global, regional, and internal events aligned with marketing and business objectives. These include major conferences, industry exhibitions, roadshows, webinars, roundtables, hospitality, and workshops - both in-person and virtual. You'll manage suppliers, budgets, and event operations, ensuring ROI through performance measurement and optimisation. Working closely with marketing partners and delivery teams, you'll also drive event promotion, follow-up, and reporting.

- Plan and deliver impactful global events that drive client engagement and support business growth.
- Create detailed project plans and manage end-to-end event delivery, balancing multiple priorities effectively.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure events are on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards.
- Develop innovative formats and strategies to enhance audience experience and event impact.
- Manage digital event platforms, registrations, communications, and act as SME for events.
- Track and report on event performance, ROI, and audience metrics and recommend improvements for future events.
- Manage vendor relationships and source cost-effective event materials and services.
- Continuously optimise processes and systems to support global event success.
What will you bring to the role?
A passion for creating impactful event experiences that drive engagement and business growth. Proven experience managing large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and multi-region events. Strong project management skills to deliver complex events on time and within budget. Innovative thinking to design creative formats and optimise processes for maximum ROI. Expertise in digital platforms, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Extensive years of experience in planning and executing a wide variety of marketing events within a dynamic, matrixed organisation.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proven track record in both B2B and consumer marketing environments.
- Strong understanding of event logistics, audience engagement strategies, and marketing alignment.
- Experience working with external agencies and internal stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Willingness to travel for local and global events.
- Familiarity with digital event platforms, registration systems, and webinar tools.
- Ability to adapt event strategies to suit different markets, with sensitivity to language and cultural nuances.
