Computershare Plan Managers (HK/China) is the largest provider of Employee Share Plan management services in Hong Kong and China and currently counts amongst 200 of the most influential publicly listed Clients companies as clients where we manage all aspects of their Employee Share Plan.

With the successful establishment of our business in HK/China, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our team as a Customer Due Diligence Specialist. This role is a key contributor to ensuring the smooth onboarding of our new clients and support our existing clients for ad-hoc related events, in fulfilling the compliance requirements.

A role you will love

Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for facilitating the client due diligence processes (including new client onboarding and corporate account opening, triggering events and periodic reviews / remediations) of all CPM Asia clients. The aim is to ensure the client onboarding and corporate account opening are completed smoothly, timely, and compliant according to regulatory standards.

Some other key accountabilities will include:

• Facilitate the client due diligence processes, including new client onboarding, triggering events and periodic reviews for existing clients.
• Navigate public databases and internal systems to identify & verify due diligence information. Conduct risk assessment through a thorough understanding of client's background, key business, source of income, source of wealth, senior management, ownership structure etc., collect and review KYC documents, complete name screening.
• Stay current on regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging trends in AML and KYC to ensure ongoing compliance and process improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to front-line staff on CDD procedures, documentation requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Participate in effective communications with clients.
• Co-operate with colleagues (compliance/risk/audit) around the globe in addressing relevant client needs.
• Identify missing CDD documentation and remediate as appropriate.

What will you bring to the role?

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytic and problem-solving techniques, time management skills and will have an eye for details. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years of experience in customer due diligence and have client facing exposure preferably in a professional services field or within the financial services sector.

Some other key skills required for the role:

• University graduate with bachelor's degree (or above) in Business / Commerce.
• Excellent communication skills with a good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
