Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

The Gilts and Structured Products Team supports a range of high-profile clients, including HM Treasury, managing Corporate Actions, Payments, Tax Processes and day-to-day correspondence across a varied workload. With 23 active clients, the role offers broad exposure across the business, the chance to build strong internal and external relationships, and a solid grounding in a specialist area. It's a fast paced and diverse position where no two days are the same.

A role you will love
This role sits within a highly collaborative and detail driven environment, where you'll help the team meet agreed quality standards and service levels for HM Treasury and other clients. You'll work closely with Client Managers, internal stakeholders and external agents, often communicating directly with HM Treasury, to ensure accurate, timely processing, smooth issue resolution and excellent client outcomes. It's a varied position with opportunities to deepen your expertise in a specialist function, learn on the job and contribute to a supportive and experienced team.
Key responsibilities include:
- BAU processing and client support, including issuing and cancelling Gilt Stocks, processing sales and purchases, managing Special Operations, preparing scheduled payments, and handling tax enquiries and reissues
- Operational correspondence and relationship management, responding to a wide range of security holder enquiries and preparing updates for HM Treasury and other stakeholders
- Corporate actions and reconciliations, supporting payment processes and assisting with activities such as the 6 monthly Payover cycle
- Work allocation and team support, prioritising daily tasks, maintaining shared work queues, and contributing to continuous improvement and upskilling across the team
What will you bring to the role?
This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, supportive team. You'll need to be confident using Microsoft 365, adaptable to changing priorities and proactive in taking on new tasks. Experience in financial services or related processes is beneficial, alongside the ability to work through technical and non technical problems and a desire to learn within a niche specialist area.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Flexibility and comfort adapting to shifting priorities
