The Business Partnering Team

The Business Partnering Team drives an excellent fulfilling employee experience and provides a key point of contact for the Global Business Unit Heads for strategic support to shape their People agenda. The team requires dedicated, driven and talented individuals to live, breathe and embody the People team's vision in executing their strategic role.

A role you will love

The People Change Partner will support the delivery of organisational change initiatives associated with technology transformation. Working as part of the core project team, it supports the overall change and transformation initiatives we have to deliver across our global business.

As a member of the project team, this 12-month contract will support the people elements of our change and transformation programs, collaborating closely with the wider People Team to ensure the effective implementation of structural changes across multiple locations, while ensuring full compliance with local labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of people aspects of a major project collaborating with business leaders and people team colleagues to ensure people changes are effectively managed and implemented
  • Manage project plans and lead People Team workstreams to ensure the smooth and timely implementation of initiatives
  • Provide advice and guidance to leaders on people requirements associated with organisational change and Target Operating Model (TOM) reviews.
  • Identify, raise, and resolve people-related risks and issues in line with agreed project governance
  • Contribute to the development of communications for impacted teams
  • Partner with Employee Relations (ER) teams, business leaders, and People Team colleagues to ensure organisational change is implemented effectively from a people perspective
  • Coach leaders through all aspects of change implementation and provide regular progress updates by providing project status reports
  • Collaborate with People Team colleagues to deliver a seamless employee experience and ensure all people-related changes are completed through to conclusion.

Key skills you will bring to the role

  • Strong experience in employee relations, with essential knowledge of UK employment law and desirable experience of US and/or Australian employment law
  • Proven experience in implementing organisational change, with a clear understanding of how HR specialisms (Reward, Recruitment, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and HR Service Delivery) collaborate to deliver a best-in-class employee experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver outcomes to agreed timelines
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of People policies, standards, and procedures
  • Proven ability to provide expert advice and guidance to leaders within areas of specialism
  • Strong experience in solving complex problems involving multiple inputs, stakeholders, and data sources
  • Demonstrated capability in analysing and interpreting a wide range of data to inform decision-making
  • Experience of working in an international context, with an understanding of cross-cultural considerations and regional regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of working effectively with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.

Education and Experience

  • A degree level or CIPD qualification or significant work experience within change management
