Computershare is a global financial administration company, employing over 12,000 people around the world. Issuer Services (CIS) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services to Issuer Services clients and their individual security holders.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our IPO team within Issuer Services business, where we are now looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Associate to join our IPO team in Hong Kong. This is a rare opportunity that will give you a fantastic exposure to IPO projects and connection with investment banks and legal advisors in Hong Kong.
A role you will love
Reporting to the Director of IPO Operations, you will be required to deliver excellent professional services to issuers, sponsors, legal advisors, clearing companies and other parties in setting up the logistics of the IPO projects.
Some other key accountabilities will include:
• Be part of the deal team and actively participate in the execution of IPO projects.
• Maintain excellent client support services and ensure high quality work to IPO related enquiries.
• Actively participate in the IPO related activities e.g. review documents (prospectus), join logistics discussion and settlement mechanism.
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the IPO team.
• Involve in day-to-day project management and execution support.
• Participate in ad hoc projects.
What will you bring to the role?
To be successful in this role you will have a solid understanding about IPO, excellent interpersonal skills, strong multi-task and time management skills, willing to work hard under pressure, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
Some other key skills required for the role:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or closely related areas.
• At least 5 years' related experience in financial institution with solid understanding about IPO is preferred.

• Experience in client-facing and handling admin tasks and serving a group of people. Assists in coordination and liaison with issuers, sponsors, legal advisors, clearing companies and other parties in setting up the logistics of the IPO projects.
• Keen attention to details, organization, planning and preparation capabilities, demonstrating quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, Words, Excel, PowerPoints, etc.
