Customer Operations Shareholder Information Team is one of the Operations Team within Hong Kong region, responsible for providing back end support for processing shareholders' requests into the system.

The Customer Operations Assistant Officer must deliver all the daily jobs within agreed timeline and service/quality standards, e.g. according to our operation procedures.
This role is also expected to work collaboratively across various teams within Operations, this is significant, in order to process all the shareholders' instructions within service level and comply with compliance into the system.

A role you will love

The Customer Operations Assistant Officer will work closely with all Operation teams and Investor Services Team, Client Facing Teams and also IPO team to ensure all shareholders' instructions are carried out timely and accurately. All tasks should be delivered under our operation procedures and comply with Compliance. The tasks should be closely monitored so that all changes can be timely reflected.

Some other key accountabilities will include:

• Update the shareholders' requests correctly in system.
• Perform quality assurance on the transactions updated in system.
• Discuss and co-ordinate daily tasks with different teams (Operations, Investor Services, Client Facing, Legal and Compliance, etc).
• Ensure all shareholders' instructions can be delivered up to standard and within agreed timeline.
• Make sure all shareholder data maintained accurately in the system under standard internal audit process.
• Communicate and work closely with offshore team.
• Comply with all applicable operation procedures and report any potential risk and suspicious transactions to line manager immediately.
• Adapt to changing internal business requirements / expectations.
• Provide timely support for any ad-hoc / special requirements, e.g. Attending AGMs.

To be successful in this role, you must have some basic understanding relating to share registry business, good communication and problem-solving skills.

Some other key skills required for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Previous experience from the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and initiative.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
