What's the role?
You will be selling home, auto, toy, and umbrella policies to new clients, but there's so much more to it than that. You will also establish relationships with industry partners, build new business, and most importantly you will develop the necessary skills to become a career agent. Over time you'll build a large enough book to transition out of the office and become an independent contractor with us. Responsibilities include:
Generating new business through your own leads and leads that have been provided to you
Educating potential clients on their insurance needs and finding the right policies for them
Preparing and presenting proposals to clients
Meeting monthly goals in written premium
Finding referral sources in order to gain leads
Developing effective marketing strategies to sell insurance plans to new clients
Staying informed about market trends and updates in the insurance industry
Following company policies and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements
