What's the role?
Our Independent Agent Development Program is an opportunity to build your own book of business while being mentored by some of the top mentors in the industry. This position offers a base salary, commission, benefits and is a remote position. While in the development program you will be selling home, auto, toy, and umbrella policies to new clients, but there's so much more to it than that. You will also establish relationships with industry partners and continually build new business. You're coming at this with insurance experience, so you're ready to hit the ground running to build your book of business and create equity. You will be doing this with the support of one of the largest independent agencies in the country behind you every step of the way.
Consistently generating new business on your own, being sure to meet monthly goals
Developing effective marketing strategies to sell insurance plans to new clients
Continually adding referral sources in order to gain leads
Educating potential clients on their insurance needs and finding the right policies for them
Preparing and presenting proposals to clients
Staying informed about market trends and updates in the insurance industry
Following company policies and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements
Who are you?
You have experience working in the insurance industry or have an excellent sales experience background with a track record of success
You have an outgoing and energetic personality. You enjoy going out and finding leads on your own.
You pride yourself on your ability to build strong relationships.
You rock an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to build a self-sustaining revenue stream.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You have a valid P&C license in the state in which you're applying for the role.
