Our international team is setting the standard for industrial software by accelerating innovation in data contextualization, advanced visualizations, and machine learning. The Solution Architect team is a team of 30 and consists of people with a variety of backgrounds. All with a passion for technology. The Solution Architect team is a professional service group responsible for the technical architecture in Cognite's customer delivery projects. We facilitate the technical setup, translating requirements into solution design and governance processes. In short, we set the customers up for success with a solid digital foundation. As Cognite's Customer base is growing, so is the need for talented Principal Solution Architects. We are looking for Solution Architects for two different types of teams; customer-facing projects and our internal Enablement Team. As a Solution Architect in a customer-facing project, you will work directly with key customers, field sales, delivery, and product development teams. You will use your technical competencies to help to lead Norwegian and international industrial customers to increase productivity, profitability, reduce environmental impact and reduce costs. Together with the team, you will define solutions and support each integration through to a successful finish. As a Solution Architect in the internal Enablement Team, you define best practices and tools for the delivery teams and act as an advisor to the teams, as well as contribute to the lifecycle management of the solutions delivered. You also work closely with the product development teams and you may work with sales. You will be encouraged to use your own strengths and interests to take on a variety of responsibilities. These may include: Responsible for end to end solution design and leading teams of technical experts towards successful solution delivery Provide technical expertise and support for customers and the customer-facing project teams. Provide guidance and find solutions that enable customers' business use-cases Define complete solution architecture, including integration, data models, and data ingestion pipelines, as well as user-facing solutions Ensure operational responsibility and support agreements for the delivered solutions Establish good relationships with key IT Data Managers and Business Data Managers to drive long-term adoption of Cognite's products and services Train partners and internal teams in your area of specialization, including the creation of training materials, modeling guidelines, and best-practices Independently work with and manage integration, data modeling, and similar activities using Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python/Java, Rest APIs and business intelligence tooling Collaborate with our Engineering and Product Management teams to turn customer needs into a prioritized pipeline of product offerings Develop and maintain technical and business expertise for Cognite's products Define reference architectures and work with software engineers in the internal enablement team Support pre-sales with technical expertise and seamless transfer to the delivery phase For the customer-facing roles, you must be willing to travel A successful candidate for this role has around 10 years or more relevant experience from a similar position. You must be highly organized, thorough, and communicate well with all stakeholders. You will be required to collaborate, lead, and coach, as well as work independently.
