Intern, Procurement - Travel & Corporate Services
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11,2026, until August 28, 2026.
Job Summary
The focus ofthis internship is related to supporting the travel category and helpingestablish key categorygovernance processes in place. The role will be accountable for supporting key projectssuch as, the travel policy compliance dashboard. For context, the travelcategory team waseliminated. This internship will further structure robust governance processes,including quarterlyperformance reviews, supplier dashboards, and action lists for all key Travelsuppliers andpartners.
Major Responsibilities
- Establish category guidelines and governance processes for BCD travel, car rental companies, airlines, hotels, and campus travel.
- Build appropriate KPI's and communication touchpoints with key vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Support program reviews for key suppliers and help manage cost savings and cost avoidance data for the category.
- Support and lead some key projects related to the travel category
- Establish templates and governance processes for managing all key partners. This will include action lists as well as internal regular governance meetings with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Autonomous, confident with good sense of business acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of other software such as SmartSheet and Tableau.
- Fluently bilingual - both written and verbal (English, French).
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Interest and naturally curious
- Effective communication skills
Education
- Recently graduated or working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
