Job Summary
The Senior Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst provides subject matter expertise across a broad range of strategic HR initiatives, including transformational programs, system enhancements, data integrity, and system/data security. The role collaborates closely with team members, vendors, and cross-functional partners to coordinate and deliver HR technology projects while configuring, supporting, and optimizing HR platforms such as Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD), SAP SuccessFactors-including its recruitment, performance, talent, succession, and learning modules-Percipio/Skillsoft, Cority OHS, ServiceNow HRSD, and Sodales GMS. The incumbent also supports complex third-party integrations for job postings, background checks, assessments, and survey tools, ensuring seamless HR technology operations and enabling efficient, effective solutions across the HR function.

Main Responsibilities
• Identify project and program milestones, critical success factors, risks, and required resources.
• Ensure projects, departmental milestones, and goals are achieved within approved budgets.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize HR technology solutions including CSOD
• (Learning management System (LMS)), SAP SuccessFactors (ATS, Performance, Talent, Succession), Percipio/Skillsoft, Cority OHS, ServiceNow HRSD, and Sodales GMS.
• Oversee and support third-party integrations such as LinkedIn and Indeed job boards, First Advantage background checks, Ullix and AON assessments, and survey platforms including Qualtrics.
• Provide HR community support across HRIS needs including payroll, benefits, pension, compensation, recruitment, staffing, labour relations, and field HR.
• Ensure adherence to change management processes and application of project management best practices.
• Develop, implement, and modify system requirements based on evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues, maintain data integrity, and ensure system and data security across all platforms.
• Deliver training, documentation, and guidelines to support end users and promote consistent practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate HR technology projects and ensure long-term viability of proposed solutions.
Working Conditions
The role has standard working conditions in an office environment with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday and is eligible to participate in CN's hybrid work model. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure and manage stress.
Requirements
Experience
Human Resource Information System
• Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience
• Minimum 5 years demonstrating leadership and oversight of deliverables.
• Minimum 3-5 years of Waterfall project management experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of Agile project management experience
• Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Office Suite products
• Between 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience
• Between 1-3 years working with AI and automation tools
• Between 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience
• Between 1-2 years of Release Management experience
Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset
Education/Certification/Designation
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management, Human Resources, or equivalent
• Business Analyst Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification, or equivalent
Any experience for these above would be considered as an asset

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
• Consistently follows safety, information security, and ESG requirements
• Excellent communicator with strong prioritization and collaboration skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Project for planning and tracking activities
• Knowledge of the rail transportation or logistics industry
• Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
