Agency Description
The Department of Revenue collects over $5 billion dollars from hundreds of thousands of taxpayers to support the School District of Philadelphia and City services; and provides over $100 million in tax relief to a quarter million households. The Department of Revenue is seeking a Graphics and Forms Project Coordinator to work in our Policy and Outreach unit.

Position Summary
This position will work together with existing staff to support the Department’s reporting, graphic and forms development needs. The position will report to the Communications and Outreach Manager and will help improve departmental communications with taxpayers.
Essential Functions
Areas of Responsibility include, but may not be limited to:
- Form creation
- Coordinate, create, and maintain annual tax forms, assistance application forms, and any other documents needed for departmental operations.
- Implement and maintain a document management system.
- Maintain and update forms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Graphic design:
- Create and improve print materials like flyers, guides, and reports
- Create and support graphics for social media posts
- Support the creation of infographic white papers (in collaboration with the Policy and Research Teams)
- Support change management communications for the Department’s major initiatives
- Support the Department’s email campaigns and physical print letters/mailings as required
- Support and collaborate on Department campaigns such as Business taxes, Homestead Exemption, and EITC and CTC, as necessary
- Project Management
- Manage projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and coordinating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Guide the creation of letters, forms, and other print materials created throughout the department to ensure they meet the readability and accessibility goals of the department.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Graphic design, UX/UI, and accessibility principles
- Strong organizational, communication, and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills
- Knowledge of current trends in digital media/social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Professional printing/publishing knowledge preferred
- Skill in using communication and graphic design software and tools
- Ability to be self-motivated
- Ability to be creative and have ingenuity when solving problems
- This role may require some nights and weekends to support events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or related field
- At least two to four years of full-time professional experience (2-4 years of experience)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
