Job Summary

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In / Primary Care clinic in Wimberley, TX. This full-time role blends walk-in care with traditional primary care, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-focused outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both acute and routine primary care needs across a broad patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute, non-emergent conditions in a walk-in clinic setting

• Provide ongoing primary care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine follow-up visits

• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant

• National certification (NCCPA)

• Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care preferred

• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
