Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Port Arthur, TX. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive outpatient setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the community. The ideal candidate will have prior experience practicing as an NP or PA and be comfortable managing a broad range of primary care conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum family medicine services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment

• Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings

• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

• Educate patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant

• National certification (NCCPA)

• Previous experience practicing as a PA required

• Prior family medicine or primary care experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic environment

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Outpatient only - no nights or weekends
