Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY<ul> <li> <div><span>The Lead Office LPN is responsible for coordinating and directing work flow and functions of designated service personnel to facilitate safe and efficient work flow and practices. Reports to the designated manager.</span></div> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <div><span><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></div> <ul> <li> <div><span>Plans, develops and organizes services and activities to support medical practices. </span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Works in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). </span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice. </span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Demonstrates excellence in nursing practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.</span></div> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <div><span><strong>LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS</strong></span></div> <ul> <li> <div><span>Current State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.</span></div> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <div><span><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></div> <ul> <li> <div><span>Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. </span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Technical and professional knowledge and skills for clinical operations of the service area usually acquired through 3 - 5 years’ progressive experience in a practice setting. </span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.</span></div> </li> <li> <div><span>Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing complexity testing.</span></div> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <div><span><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS</strong></span></div> <ul> <li> <div><span>Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust, or extremes in temperatures.
