Overview
This position will serve as a member of Entity Technical Solutions International (ETSI) team within the Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) department. This position is responsible for ensuring the successful design, implementation, and on-going support of complex international technology portfolios spanning various functional business areas within the Chick-fil-A enterprise including, but not limited to Operator Technology, Customer Technology, Staff Technology, and Shared Services. This position will also be responsible for navigating new complex business entity structures, varying international regulations, and global infrastructure needs specifically for Canada and Puerto Rico. This role will steward technology processes and solutions for Chick -fil-A in these countries.
This role will also be specifically responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of the country -specific:
- Business model
- Operator agreement
- Business objectives
- Requirements (language, currency, regulations, etc.) and technology needs.
The role will advise the country-specific technology portfolio management effort to ensure the successful launch and on-going support of country-specific technology solutions.
The role will also inform the maintenance of a:
- Project plan
- Questions log Decisions log Issues log
- Risk assessment Mitigation plan

Responsibilities
- Lead one or more technical initiative(s) and/or program(s)
- Demystify technology for business partners
- Manage support and maintenance of technical initiatives and/or programs
- Analyze and evaluate the current business processes; identify areas of improvement for the area of responsibility
- Gather requirements, create documentation and resources for technical initiative or program implementations,
changes, and issues - Collaborate and interact with developers, stakeholders, system architects and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of technical programs and/or initiatives
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for programs/initiatives supported
- Define strategy, lifecycle, and design for area of responsibility
- Influences the direction of areas of responsibility and consistently makes significant contributions and some decisions towards vision, strategy, and design.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience leading technical initiatives or programs
- Knowledge and/or experience with development approaches and techniques
- Experience in driving teams and management to decisions
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them to techno-functional requirements that deliver desired outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent personal and relational intelligence Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration
- Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems
- Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision Team player who is committed to both the team and the product
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate and make decisions in the gray
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively manage vendors
- Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship Spanish language skills are a plus
