Overview

The New Restaurant Sr. Specialist (NRS) works alongside New Restaurant project teams within domestic markets to create new Owner/Operator opportunities aligned with Chick-fil-A's mission and strategic growth plans. The NRS role has responsibilities from site identification through grand opening phases of a New Restaurant project: stewarding prompt real estate deal approvals, effectively carrying out designated site acquisition and development responsibilities, and ensuring that the site development and construction timelines adhere to the contractual commitments specified in the real estate deal contract. The NRS role requires collaboration with various key internal and external stakeholders throughout the acquisition, development and construction phases of the New Restaurant project.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site acquisition and pre-development processes, ensuring deals progress through internal approval decisions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee site investigation and due diligence activities to prepare for project development.
  • Manage real estate contract requirements, including deal timelines, required plan approvals, and payments.
  • Support permitting, development, and construction efforts by ensuring the development and construction schedule is aligned with contractual obligations and timelines, manage required payments, reimbursements, bonds, and documentation throughout the process as needed, and equip the enterprise with key project information post-opening.
  • Ensure key project-specific data is maintained throughout the project lifecycle for enterprise data integrity
  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to address key priorities and manage proactive communication to keep projects on track, meeting pipeline commitments to the organization.
  • Provide regional support by assisting with ad-hoc requests, tracking KPI's, and reporting key project data as needed.
  • Ability to flex and support work cross-regionally as business needs evolve over time.
