Principal Team Leader, Media Investment Analytics and Insights
Overview
As part of the Customer & Market Insights team at Chick-fil-A, it is our role to capitalize the Customer and provide meaningful insights that fuel innovation around service, product development, messaging, and experience. This role leads Chick-fil-A's media measurement strategy within the Customer & Market Insights team. It owns the end-to-end assessment of advertising performance, including delivery, effectiveness, and ROI, and translates that into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. The scope spans media delivery analytics, Marketing Mix Modeling, attribution, optimizations, and investment recommendations that guide national and market level marketing decisions. This position will have two senior lead analysts reporting to them to deliver impactful insights to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Serve as analytic liaison between Customer & Market Insights and internal stakeholders to deliver key insights and trends around pertinent KPIs of Media Performance (ROMI, Share of Voice, Unique Reach/Frequency, etc)
- Work cross functionally with partners in Finance, Org Strategy, Supply Chain and other sub-departments across Marketing to properly inform investment and impacts from changes in investment strategy
- Lead Media Investment insights team, steering platforms like Marketing Mix Models, Attribution Modeling, and reporting from advanced Media Delivery insights tools
- Deliver clear, influential insights to senior leaders that shape national media investment decisions regarding audiences, publishers, reach/frequency, and other strategic ad-hoc analyses
- Identify multi-million-dollar efficiency opportunities through scenario modeling and optimization.
- Develop teams skills and outputs in incrementality testing, clean rooms, cross-channel reach, data governance and predictive modeling
- Provide direction and coaching to a team of two senior lead analysts focused on MMM, attribution, and delivery measurement, developing them into future subject matter leaders
- Collaborate with research colleague to drive integrated Customer & Market Insights team regarding customer communications business needs
- Must have a solid background in the advertising landscape, understanding how media is bought and how it is measured coupled with strong analytical skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a field such as Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Marketing, Economics or other similar fields
- 6+ years of experience
- Experience leading people and guiding subject matter areas
- Familiarity with financial and marketing principles and data sets, marketing channels, agency partnerships
- Experience translating and simplifying complex data into well-crafted stories and actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to process data from multiple sources to provide clarity to cross-functional stakeholders
- Direct experience with syndicated data providers like Nielsen, iSpot, VideoAmp, EDO, etc.
- Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling and the underlying mathematical principles
- Experience partnering well with cross-functional teams, being highly collaborative with ability to build strong relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Quick and versatile learner
- Strong analytical skills in hypothesis generation and data identification
- Strong Mathematical Skills, with excellence in algebra a baseline
- Ability to maintain focus on the business context and the key decisions to be made
- Ability to convey insights in a way that is clear and compelling

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Masters' degree in a field like, like Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Research, Economics or other similar fields
- 8+ years of experience
- Experience leading a team of experienced professionals
- Proven Ability to clearly communicate insights with senior Leaders and executives
- Experience in advanced analytics areas such as MMM, Price and Promotion, product Assortment, in market testing and digital measurement
