Overview
The Sr. Financial Consultant supports the business by working directly with Operators across 140-175 restaurants (representing $1B+ in sales) to optimize their opportunities and promote financial stewardship across the enterprise. The Sr. Financial Consultant directly contributes to the healthy, long-term growth of Operator income which helps strengthen the financial health of the franchise deal by advising on business planning and performance. Additionally, The Sr. Financial Consultant acts as the financial voice for the Area Support Team providing regular performance reviews, insights and recommendations for other Chick-fil-A Staff.

Responsibilities
- Promote strategic measures and partnerships that strengthen and protect the financial fitness of the deal (both for Operators and Chick-fil-A, Inc.)
- Provides relevant insights and perspectives that support a profit margin which facilitates an Operator's engagement and continued best efforts
- Anticipate and advise through pressures on the core tenants of a financially fit deal and the Operators response to those forces
- Represent unbiased Restaurant financial data and analysis to support growth and reduce decision-making risks
- Support and foster Financial Stewardship through the lens of all 5 Critical Success Factors across a portfolio of restaurants, with expertise in Food, Labor, Paper and General Expenses
- Uses a total business approach to analyze and diagnose Operator business challenges and opportunities
- Consults to effective planning and goal setting for both the Operator and Area Support Team
- Acts as a bridge between the Support Center Financial Strategy, Restaurant-specific circumstance and Operators' viewpoints (e.g., consult to pricing, FCR recognition changes, cost avoidance measures)
- Provides insights, perspective and comparative data to the Franchisee Selection Consultant and Area Director for Operator selection decisions
- Partner with Business & Relationship Leads, Area Directors, Marketing Consultants and Restaurant Excellence Consultants to offer unified support experience that is personalized, responsive, transparent and proactive
- Represents the voice of the Operator and Chick-fil-A, Inc. effectively within the Financial Services domain
- Stewards and shares best practices, as well as, connects Operators to available resources
- Engages and works together with partners and resources in Financial Services and other Departments (e.g., Restaurant Financial Systems, Cash Management, Restaurant Accounting, Supply Chain) to surface issues, navigate barriers, ensure progress and gain advocacy for needs
- Plans and directs projects and/or outcomes and provides technical leadership and consultation to others with significant independent decision-making authority.
- Influences strategic direction by providing input that may directly impact specific programs or areas of the business that may have broader impact across the organization.
- Builds credibility as a trusted partner in and out of Financial Services.
- May represent the organization in outside discussions and technical forums.
- Assists with or leads the selection and oversight (including assistance with financial and/or budgetary management) of outside partners and professionals to effectively deliver outcomes and results.
- Participates in the selection of Financial Consultants.
- Assists in training new hires, and is leveraged for peer coaching and skill development.
- Viewed by peers in and out of Financial Services as a peer coach of choice.
- Leads others in projects of large scope.
