Overview

The Chick-fil-A Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) Business Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to help shape technology solutions that serve Operators, Team Members, Customers, and Staff.

Business Analyst Interns serve on cross-functional product and technology teams in an agile environment, developing skills in business analysis, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, data analysis, and technical communication. They collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, architects, designers, scrum masters, and business stakeholders to help translate business needs into meaningful technology solutions.

Business Analyst Interns make real contributions to projects with business impact. They help define requirements, analyze processes, document solutions, support testing efforts, identify opportunities for improvement, and solve complex business problems. Whether supporting customer-facing applications, supply chain technologies, workforce platforms, or internal business systems, Interns gain hands-on experience helping teams deliver value through technology.

The DTT Internship is committed to developing participants personally and professionally. All participants are matched with an Early Talent Coach who serves as their go-to resource for support, work direction, and input. Interns learn professionalism, interviewing skills, and curated technical topics. Interns meet with Chick-fil-A executives, DTT leadership, and project leads to learn more about Chick-fil-A culture and key transformational work underway across the business.

This program gives participants the opportunity to leverage business analysis, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in a real-life working environment. Participants get to experience first-hand Chick-fil-A's corporate culture and contribute to a real DTT project underway in the business. Participants are presented with leadership opportunities while gaining the skills and perspective necessary for a successful career in Digital Transformation and Technology at Chick-fil-A, Inc., or in the broader technology industry. The dates of this internship are May 17, 2027, through July 30, 2027. Those selected are expected to be able to attend the internship in its entirety.

Responsibilities

• Learn about a variety of Chick-fil-A systems and technologies and contribute directly to their success. Ideate on ways to improve current products, projects, and processes.
• Support Operator, Team Member, Customer, or Staff initiatives by bringing business goals to life through Chick-fil-A's technology stack. You will assist by creating dashboards in Tableau, querying SQL databases, and/or using cloud technology.
• Partner with Product Owners to gather business requirements, write user stories, and groom backlogs within a high functioning Agile-based environment.
• Attend and contribute to daily standup's and sprint planning meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects supporting our Chick-fil-A One App, On-Demand Delivery Platform, Workday System, Payments System, Service Now Application, and more
• Contribute to solutions that help mitigate risks to project timelines and product quality
• Troubleshoot and help resolve high visibility escalations from the business
• Leverage partnerships across the business in areas such as marketing, customer insights, talent operations, supply chain, field operations, and other digital stakeholders through communication, project planning, and work visibility initiatives
• Help foster a culture of care and inclusiveness
• Learn and carry out the principles of servant leadership

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Actively pursuing a degree in MIS, CIS, Industrial Engineering, Computational Media, or similar, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Rising senior (undergraduate) returning to school in Fall 2027, with 1-2 semesters of school remaining
• Relevant technical coursework
• Analytical background with strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Basic SQL or database knowledge
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Previous internship or research experience
• On-campus leadership or volunteer experience
• Chick-fil-A Restaurant experience
