Senior Marketing Project Manager
Our Opportunity
Chewy is looking for a Senior Marketing Project Manager to join our Marketing Planning & Operations team! In this role, you will lead the end-to-end execution of high-visibility, cross-functional campaigns, managing complex workflows and ensuring successful delivery against scope, timeline, and quality standards. You will also mentor Marketing Project Managers (PMs), contribute to process development, and partner with leadership to optimize operational performance.
The ideal candidate brings critical thinking, strong leadership presence, and deep experience in integrated campaign management across multiple channels.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end-to-end development of strategic, cross-functional marketing campaigns.
- Lead intake and planning for complex initiatives, partnering with Program Managers, Marketing, Creative, and Studio to define deliverables, scope, and timelines.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks, resolving blockers quickly to maintain momentum.
- Influence prioritization and resource alignment through strategic collaboration.
- Serve as a mentor to Marketing PMs, providing guidance on standard processes and workflow efficiencies.
- Drive operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies in current processes and recommending scalable solutions to evolve processes, templates, and tools for campaign delivery.
- Analyze campaign performance and workflow metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Represent Marketing PM in cross-functional operational forums and planning sessions.
- Find opportunities to improve collaboration between Marketing, Program Management, Creative, and Studio, encouraging stronger partnerships and more efficient workflows.
- Track project success metrics to identify problems, draw conclusions, and provide an action plan.
- Communicate complex project insights clearly and effectively across levels to support strategic alignment.

What You’ll Need:
- 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced studio, agency, or marketing production environment managing complex projects and workflows.
- 2+ years in a leadership role with direct team management and/or the ability to mentor and guide Marketing Project Managers in process optimization and collaborator management.
- Proven ability to lead high-visibility, cross-functional projects from intake through execution, ensuring alignment between creative, marketing, and production teams.
- Expertise in project intake, workflow optimization, and forecasting methodologies to improve resource planning.
- Proficiency in project management platforms such as Workfront or Jira, with experience using data to drive operational decision-making.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and provide clear, strategic solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring quality control and adherence to brand standards across all Studio projects.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume creative environment.
