At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us "challenge the status quo" and transform the finance industry together. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Value Management Office (VMO) is one of the three pillars of the Value Delivery & Governance ecosystem - collaborating deeply with the Portfolio Governance, Standards & Data and Portfolio Operations teams. Together, these teams ensure that the enterprise connects strategy to execution through value realization, consistent standards, accurate data, and process maturity.

About the Role

The VMO Team Leader is responsible for establishing and maturing value management practices across the enterprise. This includes defining benefit realization models, value flow visibility, prioritization frameworks, and OKR alignment that enables teams to measure progress toward strategic outcomes.

This role operates in lockstep with the Governance/Standards/Data and Portfolio Operations teams to ensure value data is accurate, operating models are consistent, and prioritization is grounded in both business outcomes and reliable delivery metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Value Management & Benefits Realization

  • Lead enterprise value realization, including benefit tracking, value flow modeling, and strategic outcome measurement.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to validate value hypotheses, metrics, and realization plans.
  • Ensure value reporting leverages accurate, standardized data through close partnership with the Governance & Data team.

Prioritization Frameworks, OKRs & Strategic Alignment

  • Drive enterprise prioritization frameworks supporting planning, intake, and decision-making.
  • Guide teams in defining OKRs aligned to strategic themes and measurable portfolio outcomes.
  • Partner with Corporate Strategy to translate Strategic Focus Areas (SFAs) into actionable, trackable results.

Reporting, Insights & Executive Storytelling

  • Develop dashboards, narratives, and insights that provide visibility into value realization and enterprise strategy progress.
  • Partner with data leaders to ensure dashboards use clean, consistent, and audit-ready data.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Lead a team of analysts specializing in value management, strategic analytics, and OKR design.
  • Continuously improve frameworks with input from portfolio, program, and agile delivery teams.
  • Serve as a collaborative peer in the three-team leadership model shaping the enterprise operating rhythm.

Required Qualifications
