The Test Governance & Compliance, Manager position presents an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the quality and reliability of software products across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Policy Definition:
    • Developing, implementing, and maintaining testing strategies, standards, and procedures, including automation governance.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
    • Conducting audits, reviews, and tracking metrics to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Risk Mitigation & Reporting:
    • Monitoring testing activities to identify risks, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders, and recommending improvements.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Standardizing testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Independent Oversight:
    • Oversee the development process to ensure objective evaluation of software quality.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years' testing experience.
  • Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or IT governance roles, preferably in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile testing methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and implement effective controls.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work cross-functionally with business, development, and compliance teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to IT compliance.
  • Experience with test management tools and metrics, such as defect leakage rates, test coverage, and audit results.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in testing or compliance (e.g., ISTQB, CISA, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading test governance or compliance initiatives within regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
  • Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages used in test environments.
  • Strong familiarity with risk management practices and experience conducting compliance audits.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex compliance requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in implementing or maintaining compliance standards.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and innovation in testing or compliance functions.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
